The Huff Project is attempting to launch the first ever lung cancer awareness specialty license plate for the state of Tennessee

Anyone is eligible to donate to this cause, but printed plates are only available to residents of the state of Tennessee
WHEN
March 2018, Tennessee legislators approved a bill to create the lung cancer awareness specialty license plate—Now, we have until march of 2020 to collect 1,000 pre-orders or the bill will expire. Sign up now to reserve your plate and help us vote on a design!
WHY
Proceeds will benefit lung cancer research—Help us learn more about lung cancer, fund new treatment options, and fund better early detection programs

How much do I pay to reserve a plate?
Pay $35.00 today, to reserve your plate with The Huff Project When will the plates be printed? Once a total of 1,000 orders is reached, plate will go into production How will I know when my plate is ready? You will receive notification in the mail that your plate is ready for pick-up at your local county clerk's office Will I owe any additional fees when I pick up my plate? The remaining balance for your plate will be $26.50 (which you'll pay at your county clerk's office upon picking up your plate) |
How much does it cost each year to keep my plate?
In year-one, you will have already paid for the production cost of your license plate and will simply renew your tags each year Are there any additional costs associated with having a specialty license plate? No, the only cost after the initial purchase will be the annual fee for tag renewal, which is $61.50 (regardless of specialty plate or not) How much will The Huff Project receive? $35.00 of each annual renewal will support our mission of funding lung cancer research |
